Since opening in 1988, we have expanded our medical services to meet the growing needs of the communities we service.
Medical services at North West Private Hospital can be accessed by referrals from a medical specialist or by your general practitioner (GP).
Our team of highly skilled and experienced medical specialists, nurses, physiotherapist, dietitian and occupational therapist will provide you with high quality holistic patient-centered care in a friendly and welcoming environment.
A plan for your care will be discussed with you upon admission, taking in consideration your safety, values, emotions, needs and preferences. You will be reviewed by the team regularly and nursing staff will continue to monitor your progress. Your treatment may include:
- further investigations
- medications
- procedures
- observations
Our professional team will also have discussions with you and your carer about safe discharge planning.
Before you leave, a nurse will confirm your abilities and limitations following hospital admission with you and your carer.
You will be provided with a summary of your hospital stay and any necessary prescriptions for follow-up medications.
We will tell you about any follow-up care that may be required and we will make all necessary referrals.
