Do I need to pay for parking?
Yes, metered onsite parking is available for visitors, patients and staff and public transport is nearby.

North West Private is located in the scenic coastal city of Burnie in Tasmania. Google Maps has driving directions and a location map.
North West Private is accessible by bus. Please access parking and transport.
Can I bring gifts into the hospital?
If you would like to purchase flowers, we have vases for patient use. Florists are located close to the hospital and offer delivery. We do not have an affiliation with these businesses.

Can I purchase food at the hospital?
Yes. We have an onsite café for visitors, carers and staff that is open:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Hudson's café is located in the Medical centre adjacent to the Private Hospital. It is open:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Snacks and refreshments can also be purchased from the dispensing machine in the foyer near the hospital's reception.
Is there access for wheelchairs?
Yes. You can arrange to drive to the front reception area enter the hospital via the foyer. The vehicle you arrive in must be moved and parked.
